No, We Are Not All "Supposed to" Love One Another
To continue with the theme of acceptance from last week…
Sometimes, people have a
mystical experience of some kind that shows them that the world (consciousness)
is out of accord with the wholeness and peace and love of Reality (God) They
may come out of it saying, “This isn’t how things are supposed to be!” or
“We’re supposed to love one another!” But of course, what is unfolding in
consciousness is exactly what is to unfold in consciousness. It is not wrong or
bad to not be loving. If this is occurring, this is meant to occur. It is just
what is unfolding in consciousness right now.
Consciousness is the illusion of a reality
opposed to Reality (God), and it depicts the Atonement (correction) over
time. So much of it is out of accord with Reality for now and
depicts what is to be corrected, not yet the correction. What those who have mystical
experiences feel is that Spirit is also here in consciousness and that Spirit
reflects Reality (God). This results in that sense of “supposed to.”
Spirit’s Presence in
consciousness reveals ego is false—but not to ego. If ego accepts a mystical
experience and does not dismiss it as a delusion, what it takes away from the
experience is that both ego and Spirit are real. Ego will feel that the
mystical experience was meant for it, and what was revealed means ego is a sin
and/or ego is on a journey to become or return to Spirit. Neither are true.
Spirit’s Presence in consciousness means Spirit is present in consciousness. It
has nothing to do with ego.
In Spirit, consciousness is
different from ego. But because one has seen this, it does not mean that they
will continue to see this. It does not mean that their conscious awareness is
to permanently change to Spirit. It is more likely that ego will change in the
awareness that Spirit is also in consciousness. Ego will embark on a “spiritual
journey.”
You do not need to strive for
the Atonement. It is being depicted right now. Step back and look at the bigger
picture. Trust what is unfolding. Your person cannot fail to play their role in
the Atonement.
