Consciousness Is A Multiverse
Every now and then someone brings up the idea of a multiverse to me, this being the idea there are universes other than the one we seem to be in. There are variations on this theory, the most common being parallel universes where all the same things are in other universes as in this universe but it is unfolding differently, implying there are infinite versions of the person with which you may still identify, infinite ways their life unfolds.
I say consciousness is
a multiverse and other universes are right here, right in front of you. Each
expression of consciousness (person) is in their own universe. Does anyone see
your person the way you see your person? Does anyone remember or interpret your
person’s life the way you do? Have you ever met someone who shares your point
of view on everything? There are as many variations of the universe as there
are minds that think about it. There are as many variations of your person as
there are people who meet your person, in person, on social media, or simply by
hearing about you. And every universe is in constant change because it is only
an idea.
“Everyone makes an ego or a
self for himself, which is subject to enormous variation because of its
instability. He also makes an ego for everyone else he perceives, which is
equally variable. Their interaction is a process that alters both, because they
were not made by or with the Unalterable. It is important to realize that this
alteration can and does occur as readily when the interaction takes place in
the mind as when it involves physical proximity. Thinking about another ego is
as effective in changing relative perception as is physical interaction. There
could be no better example that the ego is only an idea and not a fact.” (T-4.II.2)
Oh, how obsessed ego is with
consciousness! It loves to wonder at all the ways consciousness is
expressed and to speculate about all the possible ways consciousness could
be expressed. But no expression of consciousness would ever make it real.

The time will come when time is meaningless,
And place is nowhere. All our concepts wait
But their appointed ending. They uphold
A dream with no dimensions. At the gate
Of Heaven are they merely laid aside,
Before the blazing of the light within.
God’s Plan: We are constantly asking the Holy Spirit for direction.
“As the teacher of God advances in his training, he learns one lesson with increasing thoroughness. He does not make his own decisions; he asks his Teacher for His answer and it is this he follows as his guide for action.”
