Jesus' Miracles
Did the miracles Jesus performed that are reported in the Bible really happen or are they metaphors? Did Jesus really heal the sick, make the blind see again, walk on water, still a storm, turn loaves of bread into fish, and turn water into wine? Or are these metaphors for the healing that occurs in the mind when you accept Christ Consciousness – the awareness that you are One with God?
The answer is: It doesn’t matter.
Let’s talk about calming a storm. What is the difference between Jesus saying, “Peace be still” and a storm calming or a person accepting their Christ Identity as Truth and being calm no matter the storms churning around them? There is no difference. It is the acceptance of peace in either case that is the miracle.
Miracles as such do not matter. The only thing that matters is their Source, which is far beyond evaluation. (T-1.I.2)
The people who need to know if Jesus’ reported miracles are literal or not are those who want the world to be their reality and who feel a need to control it. If you have spiritual sight, what difference does it make if the body’s eyes have sight? If you have the abundance of God, what difference does it make if you have worldly abundance? If your mind is healed of its sense of separation from God, what difference does it make if the body appears ill or well? If you already have peace within you, what do you have to seek for in the world? It is always only the mind that needs to be healed of its sense of separation from God. What appears in the world is nothing.
Miracles are expressions of love, but they may not always have observable effects. (T1.I.35)
A Course in Miracles teaches us that God’s Love is the miracle. You perform a miracle when you express God’s Love, no matter in what form. It may be a thought only; it may be thought and action. It may show up only in your mind, it may show up in the world. This is the time of year when we celebrate the reawakening of Christ awareness in the world. You have accepted this awareness for your life. Remember that the miracles you perform every day through the Christ in your mind are no different than the Love extended by Jesus back then.
Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love is a miracle. (T-I.3)

So since "Christ" is not Jesus, a specific man, but a universal consciousness, It manifests in every mind.
